Reintroduction

I have been, for the entirety of my adult life, a professional Creative in one form or another. Not all of it is represented on this site, because… well, some are past careers from long ago and best suited for nostalgic conversations of youth and old dreams. For the past 22 years I have worked as a video editor, colorist, and all-round post artist. After working for small studios, agencies and for myself, I’ve worked full-time in the corporate side of video production for almost twelve years.

For both personal and professional reason, though, my time in Houston is coming to an end as I plan the long transition to Seattle and an unclear future. I’m not sure what my future in Seattle will look like. This is probably the biggest change event in my life since leaving a small, Central Texas town for collage and spending the next 33 years in Houston. A bit cliche say, it’s exciting and terrifying. It’s something I wish I had done a long time ago but something I wish I didn’t have to.

This site has been dormant for a very long time. It was essential to the years I freelanced as a showcase of my worth to prospective clients. In a way, it will still be that. Changing from Ingramworks to Seity Creative is more than just a name change, though. I’m not sure what type of creative Seattle will ask me to be, but this site will be how I define myself as a creative. So, I’ll share what I can bring to a creative environment, all that I have for so long. I’ll also share what brings me my own creative joy, express my voice and style. Something I haven’t done since the start of my career.

In the meantime, as I rebuild the site and make my way across the country, if you would like to see samples of my work or discuss opportunities, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
