Fiestamart: Back to School

My Role: Edit, Animation

Working from a storyboard with supplied graphics from the client’s advertising agency, my task was to take those along with photographed assets to create a dynamically animated 15 second spot for the store’s back to school campaign. Going into the project I was very concerned about how much time we would spend on versioning, as was the reputation of the agency. Luckily, I managed to interpret their storyboards well enough that there were only three revisions in total, allowing me to really enjoy the animation process.

Interesting Thingy: The director had photographed the various product assets without a clear idea of just how many would be used, the storyboards only gave a loose idea. The plan was to over shoot, trying to give more than we could use. I ended up using almost every shot and product, with little left over.
