Houston Methodist: Horizon’s Hope
My Role: Edit, Graphics, Audio Mix, Color Grade
The brief was simple: take the interview, timelapse and b-roll and create a fun video to introduce a mural involved with a unique study on environmental effects for cancer patient outcomes. It was an opportunity to indulge my love of bright colors, something I think every colorist craves.
Interesting Thingy: After years of trying to get permission to integrate DaVinci Resolve into our team’s workflow, this video is one of the first that I was able to bring into Resolve to complete the color grade. Although I navigated a lot of doubt and push-back from some team members on working outside of Premiere, my team is now full of Resolve converts that I have to hold back from using it for every part of a project.
