The male actor provided a plethora of take options for each scene, which lead to me and the director spending quite awhile choosing, cutting and debating the best takes. It was a “problem” that was so great to deal with having generally cut local spots where acting choices were usually between good enough and we can’t use that.
Interesting Thingy: The male actor, Dave Maldonado, has had recent significant roles in Netflix’s “The Tomorrow War” and Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners” as well as one of the feature film’s I color graded, Lifetime’s “A Woman Betrayed”.
